Paul Spanswick
Chairman
Paul has enjoyed a stellar career in Investment Banking working as a senior finance professional at Citi Group and UBS before joining Nomura, where over the course of a 22 year career he held positions including EMEA CFO and EMEA COO before joining the Group Level Executive Committee as Group CAO and Deputy Chief of Staff.
He has a proven track record in managing complex change and firm-wide transformation initiatives, crisis management, merger integration, delivering efficiencies, strengthening financial and operational controls, managing complex stakeholder relationships and developing future leaders.
Most recently he has embarked on a non-executive career and is currently a non- executive director of a number of Nomura entities across Europe. Amongst his other non- executive roles he also serves as the Chairman of Teenage Cancer Trust and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Lineten. Levrara Consulting Group is therefore significantly strengthened by having Paul as our Chairman.
Devesh Mehta
Chief Executive Officer
Devesh started at Deloitte & Touche, before going on to join Nomura’s finance function holding many senior positions including EMEA Controller, EMEA CFO & EMEA CAO as well as Global Head of Risk & Finance Change.
He was a board director of the European Holding Company as well as the UK Banking entity. He moved to Grant Thornton where, as a Financial Services Consulting Partner he successfully led the flagship Business Risk Services team before going on to Co-Head all of Grant Thornton’s Financial Services Advisory Practices. Devesh founded Levrara in January 2018 and served as its CEO for the last three years.
Darren Bishop
Chief Operating Officer
Darren has 30 years experience working in the Financial services sector. Starting in IT, developing systems for the Pensions industry through to more recently managing Operational Risk for the London Stock Exchange and working within the regulatory change team at Nomura.
Raj kumar
Head of Business Development and Recruitment
Raj started his career within luxury automotive sales in the heart of Mayfair. Having spent a few years in luxury sales, he then changed career direction to work in finance and subsequently change management within investment banking.
Using both his sales experience and content knowledge from investment banking, Raj has brought a unique blend of skills which have enabled him to successfully establish Levrara’s recruitment business and drive the firm’s new business origination.
Fiona Knight
Head of Human Resources
Following a strong academic career at one of the country’s leading grammar schools Fiona has taken the bold and increasingly popular step of forging ahead with a career in consulting . Her eloquence and dynamism make her ideally suited to supporting our Head of Business development as an associate consultant, satisfying the ever present demand for top talent from our client base.
Terry Learmouth
Head of Technology Practice
Terry has over 30 years of technology experience, the majority of which has been within the Financial Services industry across both Wholesale and Retail banking including at NatWest, Lloyds Bank and Nomura. He started his career working on innovative sector-wide retail banking technology change delivery programmes such as the national EFTPOS/switch card scheme (now Maestro) and interbank payment and settlement systems.
Terry was appointed as EMEA CIO in 2012 working at Executive and Board level. He has also held senior positions as co-Group Technology Officer, Global Head of Enterprise Infrastructure, Cyber Resilience, and the Head of IT Global Transformation programme accelerating the adoption of Cloud technologies.
He has extensive experience building out core global platforms supporting trading and business process systems which has involved working at all levels within an organisation to help drive change and business technology innovation.
